Within Fruit Circle, our goal is to connect exporters of fresh fruit with users who use the crushed (Wenco) plastic crates in which the fruit is transported as basic material for their production process. This is based on the belief that a circular economy is the future of what entrepreneurship should be.

This project, initiated by Oscar Loyola, with Wenco (a Chilean company with branches in Peru and Colombia) as a strategic partner, started mapping the different importers that process the largest volumes of crates, and started partnerships to develop for collecting, shredding and grinding these crates under the name of Fruit Circle.

The ground material was then sent back to the factory in Chile to make boxes for tomato picking and other industrial products. Now all efforts are focused on what is needed to take the next step, which is to design new products that use different types of recycled plastics as
