Circular Harvest: Talent for Circular Transitions
On 1 February 2023, Hogeschool Rotterdam will hold the annual Circular Harvest event at BlueCity (010). The Circular Harvest is an afternoon full of inspiration about circularity. With well-known speakers, lecturers from our university of applied sciences, and especially the minor students who have been working on circular issues for the past six months.
This year’s theme is: Talent for Circular Transitions.
Keynote speakers Derk Loorbach, director of the Dutch Research Institute for Transitions and professor of socio-economic transitions at Erasmus University Rotterdam, and Jan Jonker, activist professor of sustainable business, will give their perspectives on transitions. The afternoon continues with discussions on transition-oriented topics like social transitions (Kees Klomp), from waste to value: how digitalisation is transforming the circular economy (Ton van Kollenburg), designing for circularity (Marcel den Hollander) and the role of finance for circularity (Koen Dittrich-Thompson & Maaike Lycklama à Nijeholt ).
